1. Badetid, inkludert av og påkledning, er 2 timer.

2. Røyking og snus er selvsagt ikke tillatt.

3. Det er, selvsagt, ikke tillatt å nyte alkohol eller opptre i beruset tilstand i Melkarn Svømmhall.

4. Det er ikke tillatt og ta inn glass av noe slag i badeavdelingen.

5. Det er ikke tillatt og ta mat/kjeks/godterier med inn i svømmehallen.

5. Følgende spesielle regler må overholdes:

a) Ta av fottøy før du går inn i svømmehallen. Man skal ferdes barfot eller med badesko.

 b) Foreta grundig kroppsvask med såpe og uten badetøy før man går i bassenget. 

c) Tyggegummi er ikke tillatt. 

d) Plaster fjernes før dusjing.

 e) Barbering og fotpleie er ikke tillatt. 

f) Personer med åpne sår, smittsom hudsykdom eller andre smittsomme sykdommer har ingen adgang til badeavdelingen og bassenget. 

g) Alle må bruke badehette. 

h) Stuping må skje på anviste plasser.

 i) Sløs ikke med varmtvannet. 

j) Vis vanlig badevett

- Skyv ingen ut i vannet - Ikke rop eller skrik i utide - Løping rundt bassenget eller i badeavdelingen er forbudt.

6. Badebetjeningen plikter å påse at ordensreglene overholdes. De badende skal rette seg etter badebetjeningens anvisning.

1. Bathing time is, included undressing and dressing, 2 hours
2. Smoking or other tobacoproducts is not allowed inside the pool hall.
3. Alcohol is, of course, not allowed inside the pool hall. Neither is showing up under the influence of alcohol.
4. It is not allowed to bring anything made of glass inside the pool hall, in case something brakes (people are walking barefoot here)
5. Food, candy, crackers and so forth, is not allowed inside the pool hall.

The following rules must be kept at all times:

a)            Footwear must be removed before entering the pool hall. One is to walk barefoot or with bathingshoes inside the pool area.

b)           Shower thoroughly, with no clothes on, using soap,  before entering the pool.

c)            Chewing gum is not allowed inside the pool hall.

d)           Bandaids is to be removed before entering the pool hall. It can clog drains in the pool if it falls of.

e)           Shaving or pedicure is not allowed inside the pool hall. Do this at home.

f)            If you have open wounds, contagious skin-disease, or other contagious diseases, you must  stay away from the poolhall, and will not be allowed inside.

g)            Everyone must, of course, use a bathing cap.

h)           Dive at shown areas. No diving at the shallow end.

i)             Do not squander hot water.

j)             Be careful towards others, and equipment in the pool area. Don’t push other people in to the pool. Don’t scream and yell unless its necessary. Running in the pool area is strictly prohibited. 

The pool/lifeguards is there to maintain order and see to that the rules of order is being followed. Pool guests must comply to the instructions given by the lifeguards.
